January 2007 Dr. Tulenko Lectures on International Aging-in-Place Dr. Tulenko was invited to be a guest lecturer at the Lifetime Learning Institute (LLI) based at the Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA, Annandale). She gave a lecture entitled: “Aging-in-Place in the US and Abroad” which covered the latest developments in home modifications and aging-in-place as well what services and modifications are available locally. The lecture was attended by 155 people and was followed by a discussion period in which the audience shared their own experiences with aging-in-place.
